Walt Disney World Theme Park Hours

Theme park hours at Walt Disney World are posted on their website 71 days ahead of time and 70 days out on the My Disney Experience App.  These will be basic hours, but are not necessarily set in stone.  Park hours will be tweaked 2-3 weeks ahead of your vacation.  So, it is a good idea to check at the 2 week mark when finalizing your park plans!

Here is a basic idea of typical park hours at all Walt Disney World locations:

Magic Kingdom:

• Early Entry: 7:30 A.M. or 8:30 A.M.

• Official Opening: 8:00 A.M. or 9:00 A.M.

• Closing: 9:00 P.M., 10:00 P.M., 11:00 P.M. (depending on the time of year)

• Extended Evening Hours: (9:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M.; 10:00 P.M. - 12:00 A.M.; 11:00 P.M. - 1:00 A.M.)

• On a day when there is a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the park will close at 6:00 P.M. to day guests.

• BONUS: Main Street, U.S.A. will have shops and snack spots open 30-60 minutes after official park close!

EPCOT:

• Early Entry: 8:30 A.M.

• Official Opening: 9:00 A.M.

• Closing: 9:00 P.M.

• Festival of the Holidays: Parks will close at 9:30 P.M.

• Extended Evening Hours: 9:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M. or 9:30 P.M. - 11:30 P.M.

Hollywood Studios:

• Early Entry: 8:00 A.M. or 8:30 A.M.

• Official Opening: 8:30 A.M. or 9:00 A.M.

• Closing: 9:00 P.M., 9:30 P.M., 10:00 P.M.

• Extended Evening Hours: 9:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M.; 9:30 P.M. - 11:30 P.M.; 10:00 P.M. - 12:00 A.M.

• On a day when there's a Jollywood Nights event, the park will close at 7:00 P.M. to day guests.

Animal Kingdom: 

• Early Entry: 7:30 A.M.

• Official Opening: 8:00 A.M.

• Closing: 6:00 P.M., 7:00 P.M., 8:00 P.M.

• Extended Evening Hours: 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.; 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.; 8:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.
